Carbon Footprint Measurement: Balance Project
The first step in reducing the carbon footprint is to calculate the carbon footprint. In this direction, the MFET family has implemented a project that progresses with the awareness of reducing its carbon footprint. In this valuable project, which aims to guide all members of the society with efforts to reduce their carbon footprint, the average carbon footprint of individuals is calculated according to voluntary carbon standards. The project, called “Balance”, consists of fifteen questions in total, and as a result of the quick test, individuals can access data on how much carbon they have released into the atmosphere. With the ever-growing MFET Balance Project, hundreds of people have the opportunity to measure their carbon footprint. Balance is a very important project to increase carbon footprint awareness of wider masses. MFET, with this project range, people from many parts of the world; It is constantly developing and advancing on storing and processing a large amount of data on transportation, consumption, living standards and habits. In other words, Balance allows us to see the habits of a person in Istanbul and Madrid. In addition, the data obtained will be stored on a blockchain with a very low carbon footprint to be used for scientific studies in the DeSci field.
